Valerie's House Bed & Breakfast
Valerie's House was built in 1883 by James Harvey Connor. He was the grandson of Peter O'Connor an immigrant from Ireland. One of our suites is named after Mr. Connor which was changed from O'Connor when he came to America. Four generations have lived in the home. The former owner of the home Valerie Young followed in her grandfather’s footsteps and was the postmaster of the West Union, Ohio's post office. Valerie was known by most in the county and was loved by so many. Valerie's mother Dorothy Dunlap had married Clyde Bayless and the Dunlap suite was named in honor of her. This Victorian home is a Historical Landmark of Adams County. Three suites are available for the night or week.
